About the Role

EVITAR SYSTEMS is looking for a Process Planning Engineer with strong experience in precision manufacturing and CNC/VMC machining.

The role involves owning part-level process routing, operation sequencing, machine/work-centre allocation, cycle-time planning and ERP routing, while working closely with the CNC/VMC, Production, Quality and Assembly teams on the shop floor.

This is a hands-on planning + shop-floor execution role, suitable for engineers who understand how precision-machined components actually move through manufacturing—not candidates with only generic production planning experience.

Key Responsibilities

Process Planning & Routing

- Create and maintain process routings for precision-machined parts.
- Define operation sequence, work centre/machine allocation and standard cycle times.
- Develop and update routings for new parts, ECNs and process improvements.
- Validate planned processes with CNC/VMC programming and shop-floor teams.
- Align part-level routing with production schedules and available machine capacity.

Shop-Floor Planning & Execution

- Prepare daily/weekly production and work plans based on priorities and dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate with shop-floor teams to ensure planned operations are executed as scheduled.
- Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks related to material, quality, manpower or machine capacity.
- Support re-sequencing and planning adjustments based on shop-floor requirements.
- Supervise/coordinate assembly activities and ensure adherence to documented work instructions.

ERP & Documentation

- Maintain accurate ERP routing and work-order data.
- Update routing information when processes, parts or operations change.




- Maintain work instructions and process-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production regarding inspection points, delays and process issues.

Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in:
- Precision manufacturing
- Process planning
- Production planning
- Process routing
- Industrial engineering
- Hands-on understanding of CNC/VMC machining processes
- Experience with process routing and machine/work-centre allocation
- Experience working with ERP systems for routing/work-order management
- Exposure to mechanical assembly / sub-assembly
- Experience coordinating or supervising shop-floor teams
- Good understanding of production coordination between Planning, Production, Quality and CNC/Programming teams.

Preferred Profile Candidates from precision engineering, CNC machining, aerospace, defence, automotive components, engineering components or similar high-precision manufacturing environments will be preferred.

Important: This is not a purely desk-based production planning role. Candidates should have practical exposure to CNC/VMC processes, routing and shop-floor execution.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
