We are looking for a passionate and skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our growing team working on cutting-edge wireless, defense, aerospace, satellite, and high-frequency embedded systems.
If you enjoy designing high-performance RF boards, solving complex signal integrity challenges, and building advanced embedded hardware platforms including FPGA-based systems, this role is for you.
Candidates should have strong expertise in at least one of the following domains:
- RF and Microwave Electronics
- Satellite and Space Electronics
- Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems
- Power Amplifiers and RF Front-End Design
- FPGA and High-Speed Digital Systems
- Analog and Mixed-Signal Electronics
- Embedded Hardware for Aerospace and Defense Applications
Responsibilities
- Create PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer, Orcad, Cadstar, Allegro
- Design multi-layer PCBs considering signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC
- Develop high-speed digital and mixed-signal electronics for embedded systems
- Design high-frequency RF PCBs for applications ranging from MHz to multi-GHz systems
- Work on FPGA-based and SDR-based hardware platforms and high-speed interface routing
- Design multilayer PCB stack-up planning using materials such as Rogers, RT/duroid, RO4350, RO3003, RT5880, and hybrid RF + FR4 structures
- Work closely with RF, FPGA, embedded, and hardware teams for complete product development
- Perform RF layout for impedance-controlled traces, microstrip, stripline, coplanar waveguide, and controlled high-speed routing for high radio frequencies
- Define and maintain design rules, stack-ups, and constraints
- Perform component placement and routing for analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs
- Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and rework during prototype stages
Required Skills
- Robust experience in PCB schematic capture and layout
- Defense/aerospace grade PCB design
- Knowledge of multi-layer PCB design (upto 16 layers) and layout best practices
- High frequency RF PCB design
- Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and grounding
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (LVDS, Ethernet as applicable)
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets and reference designs
- Experience using lab tools for basic validation and debugging
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC guidelines
- Familiarity with hardware validation and test methodologies
- Schematic design experience is an added advantage, but strong PCB design expertise is the primary requirement
Preferred/Additional Skills:
- PCB soldering and rework experience (added advantage)
- Experience with high-speed or high-density designs (DDR, PCIe, LVDS added advantage)
