Position Overview
We are looking for a visionary, hands-on Principal Architect / Technical Lead to steer the technical roadmap, architectural integrity, and scalability of our core Supply Chain Execution and Network Orchestration platforms. In this leadership role, you will bridge high-level business strategy with deep, low-level technical execution.
You will lead a high-performing cluster of software engineering squads, mentor senior engineers, define architectural standards across microservices, and design fault-tolerant systems capable of weathering peak enterprise traffic spikes without performance degradation. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and operations research engineers to bring complex optimization models and real-time tracking engines into production.

- Blueprinting: Lead the architectural design and evolution of our core multi-tenant SaaS platform, ensuring high availability, zero-downtime deployments, horizontal scalability, and low latency across global regions.
- Microservices &
- Event-Driven Orchestration: Architect robust, decoupled microservices for Order Management Systems (OMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transport Management Systems (TMS) leveraging event-driven messaging patterns.
- Resiliency &
- Fault Tolerance: Design robust disaster recovery protocols, circuit breakers, rate limiters,
and self-healing mechanisms to ensure continuous operational uptime for mission-critical enterprise supply chains.

- Mentorship
- Engineering Standards: Establish, evangelize, and enforce architectural governance, coding standards, API design principles (REST/gRPC/GraphQL), and security best practices across all engineering squads.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior and staff engineers, conduct design reviews, foster a culture of technical innovation, and play a pivotal role in technical hiring and career growth planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between product management, QA, DevOps, and executive stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into clear, phased engineering milestones.

- High-Throughput Data Pipelines: Architect scalable data ingestion layers capable of processing petabytes of telemetry data, IoT sensor feeds, and GPS tracking logs from thousands of active fleet vehicles.

- Caching Strategies: Drive decisions on polyglot persistence, selecting optimal relational, NoSQL, time-series, or vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, TimescaleDB, Qdrant) based on specific workload access patterns.

- Cloud Governance: Implement strict FinOps guidelines to optimize cloud infrastructure expenditure (AWS/GCP) without compromising performance, throughput, or data security.

- Languages: Expert proficiency in Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus) and/or Go (Golang), with working knowledge of Python for data-heavy or algorithm-adjacent services.
- Distributed Messaging &
- Streaming: Deep expertise in Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Apache Pulsar for high-throughput event streaming.
- Databases &
- Storage: Advanced mastery of PostgreSQL, distributed SQL databases (CockroachDB/Yugabyte), NoSQL stores (MongoDB/Cassandra), and caching mechanisms (Redis/Memcached).
- Cloud &
- Infrastructure: Hands-on architecture experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM) or GCP; infrastructure as code via Terraform; container orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.

and ELK stack for distributed tracing and application performance monitoring (APM).
Experience &
- Educational Qualifications
- Experience: 7 to 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years acting in a Principal Architect, Lead Architect, or Staff Engineer capacity within product-based tech companies, high-scale SaaS enterprises, or logistics/supply-chain platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline from a premier institution (IITs, NITs, IISc, or top-tier global universities).
- Domain Exposure: Demonstrated past success in building enterprise B2B SaaS applications, multi-tenant architectures, or complex domain-driven design (DDD) systems within supply chain, fintech, or e-commerce fulfillment domains.
