Job Summary The Plumber is responsible for installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of plumbing, drainage, water supply, and sanitary systems within the facility. The role ensures reliable operation of plumbing systems and prompt resolution of leaks, blockages, and other plumbing-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance work as assigned by the supervisor.

- Inspect water supply lines, drainage pipes, valves, pumps, tanks, and sanitary fixtures.

- Identify and repair water leaks, pipe damage, blockages, and plumbing faults.

- Install and maintain water supply and drainage pipelines.

- Repair and replace taps, faucets, valves, flush systems, wash basins, toilets, sinks, and other sanitary fixtures.

- Carry out preventive maintenance of plumbing systems, pumps, water tanks, and related equipment.

- Attend to emergency plumbing breakdowns and complaints promptly.

- Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, fitting, and replacement work.

- Assist with installation and maintenance of hot and cold-water systems.

- Check water pressure and identify issues affecting water flow.

- Maintain and repair drainage and sewage systems as required.

- Use plumbing hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.

- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, breakdowns, and completed work orders.





- Maintain adequate stock of plumbing materials, fittings, tools, and spare parts.

- Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and other maintenance teams when required.

- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in work areas.

- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.

- Report major defects, unsafe conditions, and material requirements to the supervisor.

- Complete assigned jobs within the required time and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.

- Ability to identify and repair leaks, blockages, and pipe faults.

- Knowledge of different types of pipes, fittings, valves, and sanitary fixtures.

- Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely.

- Basic knowledge of pumps and water storage systems.

- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

- Good teamwork, discipline, and safety awareness.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
