Reports To: Clinical/Medical Director or Senior Physiotherapist

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Centre. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized physiotherapy plans, and providing evidence-based rehabilitation to patients recovering from neurological conditions, injuries, and disabilities.

The Physiotherapist will work closely with Neurologists, Rehabilitation Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Nurses, Psychologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessment of patients.
- Assess muscle strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, gait and functional mobility.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Provide neuro-rehabilitation interventions for patients with:
- Stroke / CVA
- Paralysis and hemiplegia
- Spinal cord injuries
- Traumatic brain injury
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Cerebral Palsy
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Post-operative neurological conditions
- Balance and gait disorders
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training and functional rehabilitation.
- Perform gait training and assistive-device training.
- Provide balance, coordination and posture training.
- Work on strengthening, flexibility and range-of-motion exercises.
- Assist patients with transfer training, bed mobility and activities of daily living.
- Provide rehabilitation for spasticity, muscle weakness and contractures as appropriate.




- Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and safe mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical response.
- Maintain accurate patient assessment, treatment and progress documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and rehabilitation planning.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety and clinical protocols.
- Maintain professional communication with patients and their families.
- Support quality improvement and clinical documentation activities of the centre.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution.
- MPT in Neuro Physiotherapy will be an advantage.
- Valid professional registration as applicable.
- Good clinical knowledge of neurological rehabilitation.

Experience
- 0–2 years: Freshers with strong clinical training may be considered.
- 2+ years: Experience in neuro rehabilitation, hospital, physiotherapy clinic or rehabilitation centre preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in stroke rehabilitation, gait training, paralysis management and neurological physiotherapy will be preferred.
