Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Phlebotomist role located in South Delhi area. The Phlebotomist will perform venipuncture and other blood collection procedures, ensuring proper identification of patients and accurate labeling of specimens.

Daily responsibilities include preparing equipment and collection sites, following infection control and safety protocols, and transporting specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining patient comfort, explaining procedures clearly, documenting collections in accordance with internal policies,



and collaborating with laboratory and clinical staff to support efficient diagnostic services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Blood Collection skills, including safe venipuncture techniques and specimen handling.
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills related to specimen processing, storage, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine sufficient to understand test orders and communicate effectively with clinical staff.
- Candidates should possess Medical Assisting capabilities, including patient preparation, basic vital sign measurement, and clear patient communication.
- Relevant certification or diploma in phlebotomy, medical laboratory technology, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, adherence to infection control practices, and ability to follow standardized procedures are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic setting are beneficial.
