We are inviting applications from highly motivated candidates for Ph.D. positions in the Molecular Microbiology & Integrative Omics Laboratory at GITAM University , Visakhapatnam.

Our research focuses on cutting-edge areas in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Microbial Systems, with a robust emphasis on Fungal Biology and Bacterial Gene Regulation and Cancer Biology.

What We Offer:

Selected candidates will receive hands-on training in both conventional and advanced technologies, including: Single-cell RNA-seq and Multi-omics (Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics), Genome-wide ChIP-on-ChIP analysis, LC-MS and GC-MS platforms, Time-lapse confocal microscopy, Computational and in silico approaches such as:



NGS data analysis, Systems biology, Subtractive proteomics, Structural bioinformatics, Protein–protein interaction analysis.

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Sc./M.Tech. in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or Systems Biology. Must have qualified JRF through CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR, or hold any other fellowship.
