Role Description The PEB Design Engineer will be responsible for designing pre-engineered steel structures, including industrial sheds, warehouses, and related components, in accordance with customer specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes. Day-to-day work will involve preparing and reviewing structural design calculations, creating and updating CAD drawings and models, optimizing material usage, and coordinating closely with project, production, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
The role includes analyzing loads,
connections, and structural details, resolving technical issues during fabrication or erection, and supporting design revisions based on client feedback or site conditions. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, documentation, and quality procedures. This is a full time, on-site role based in Indore.
Qualifications
- Strong foundations in Design Engineering with experience in structural or PEB design, including load calculations and connection detailing.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering with understanding of steel structures, fabrication processes, and material properties.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying structural drawings and 3D models.
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to integrating basic electrical requirements within PEB projects.
- Experience in Product Design for industrial or structural components, focusing on practicality, manufacturability, and safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Structural/Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., IS codes for steel structures) and quality management practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
