Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India, responsible for leading Dhwani Rural Information Systems’ strategic direction, operations, and growth. The individual in this role will oversee business development, build and maintain key relationships with development sector organizations and social enterprises, and guide the design and implementation of ICT solutions that meet client needs. Daily responsibilities include setting organizational priorities, managing budgets and resources, supervising senior staff, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.





The Owner will also drive partnerships, represent the organization with external stakeholders, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with Dhwani’s social impact mission. This role involves continuous assessment of market opportunities, risks, and innovations to keep the organization agile and responsive.

Qualifications

- Robust leadership and organizational management skills, with experience overseeing teams, budgets, and multi-stakeholder projects.

- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, business development, and partnership building within the social impact, development, or technology sectors.

- Understanding of ICT/tech solutions, digital product development, or data-driven tools used for project monitoring and evaluation.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse partners and communities.

- Background in social impact, development studies, public policy, technology management, or a related field; advanced degree or entrepreneurial experience is an advantage.

- Proven track record of operating in high-growth or mission-driven environments, with a focus on measurable outcomes and accountability.

- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, and travel as needed to partner locations and project sites.
