About the Role

We are looking for an Intermediate OutSystems Developer (ODC) to join our team in Colombia .

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of low-code development experience and be comfortable building and delivering moderately complex applications end-to-end using the cloud-native OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional and Agile teams to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, develop applications, integrate external systems, and ensure that solutions follow performance, security, and architecture best practices.

What You’ll Do

- Design and develop reactive web and mobile applications using ODC Studio .
- Build user interfaces using screens, blocks, and UI flows.
- Design data models, including entities, relationships, and indexes.
- Develop data access logic using Aggregates and SQL queries .
- Implement business logic using server actions and client actions.
- Handle exceptions and understand the application/request lifecycle.
- Build reusable and maintainable solutions using ODC apps and libraries.
- Integrate applications with external systems and services through REST APIs.
- Work with external databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL .
- Implement timers and asynchronous processes where required.
- Apply appropriate authentication, authorization, role-based security, and screen-level permissions.
- Use the ODC Portal and automated deployment pipelines to manage application releases across environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining development standards.
- Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior developers and architects on complex technical requirements.

What We’re Looking For

- 2–4 years of experience in low-code application development, preferably with OutSystems.
- Hands-on experience working with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) .
- Ability to independently develop and deliver moderately complex applications.
- Good understanding of application architecture, data modelling, integrations, and security.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment .
- Comfortable participating in code reviews and collaborating with other developers.
- Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when dealing with complex architectural decisions or large-scale refactoring.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development practices.

Certification

- OutSystems ODC Associate Developer certification is preferred.
- Candidates who are working toward or already hold the ODC Professional certification will have an added advantage.

Location Colombia - This is an onsite role and the selected candidate should be willing to relocate and work from the Colombia location.
