Ruvimo is an online tutoring platform connecting educators with students for personalized, engaging, and accessible learning experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Nursing Tutor to provide online academic support to U.S.-based students in Grades 8–12 who are exploring nursing and healthcare pathways and preparing for relevant academic and entrance assessments.

What You'll Do

- Conduct engaging 1:1 online tutoring sessions for Grades 8–12 students.
- Teach foundational nursing, healthcare, and health-science concepts in an age-appropriate manner.
- Help students build a strong foundation in areas relevant to nursing education.
- Prepare students for the ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) , particularly its Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English & Language Usage components.
- Support students with NCLEX preparation , where appropriate and relevant to their learning level.
- Help students develop clinical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and test-taking skills.
- Assist with assignments, coursework, practice questions, and exam preparation.
- Identify individual learning gaps and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students interested in pursuing nursing.

What We're Looking For




- Robust academic/professional background in Nursing, Healthcare, Health Sciences, or a related field .
- Nursing degree/qualification strongly preferred.
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring Nursing, Health Sciences, NCLEX, or ATI TEAS is highly preferred.
- NCLEX preparation experience is preferred.
- ATI TEAS preparation experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of nursing fundamentals, anatomy & physiology, healthcare concepts, and related subjects.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex healthcare concepts in a simple, age-appropriate manner.
- Experience working with U.S.-based students or familiarity with the U.S. education system is a plus.
- Comfortable delivering lessons through an online platform.

Engagement: Part-time

Important For this role, we're particularly interested in tutors who have actual experience preparing students for NCLEX and/or ATI TEAS , rather than general nursing tutors only.
