Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Physician based at Apollo Hospitals Ahmedabad, located in Gandhinagar.

Daily responsibilities include supervising and optimizing use of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring radiation safety protocols, overseeing quality control of imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate, timely reports in the medical record.

The role involves participation in multidisciplinary case discussions, supporting oncology and cardiology services, contributing to departmental policies and clinical pathways, and guiding technologists and trainees in best practices. The physician is expected to engage in continuous career development, adhere to institutional and regulatory standards, and contribute to clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated competence in Radiation Safety, including adherence to regulatory guidelines and optimization of patient and staff
- MD or DNB in Nuclear Medicine
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments, with solid clinical judgment
