Elysian is a hospitality concept built around thoughtful food, exceptional drinks, and a distinctive guest experience. We are looking for a Mixologist who can help us build a bar program that is creative, consistent, and genuinely memorable.

The Role

We are looking for a Mixologist who understands cocktails beyond simply following recipes.

You will work closely with the beverage team to create and execute cocktails, experiment with flavours and techniques, maintain high standards during service, and contribute to the continued development of Elysian's beverage program.

The right person will have both technical skill and creative instinct — someone who cares about balance, presentation, ingredients and the experience behind every drink.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails to exact specifications.
- Develop and experiment with new cocktails, flavours and techniques.
- Contribute ideas for Elysian's signature and seasonal drinks.
- Prepare house-made syrups, shrubs, infusions, cordials and other cocktail components.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, garnish and portioning.
- Understand spirits, liqueurs, bitters, wines and other beverage categories.
- Maintain bar mise en place and ensure the bar is organised and service-ready.
- Follow beverage recipes, costing and portion-control standards.
- Minimise wastage and maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Assist with inventory and stock management.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and bar organisation.




- Interact confidently with guests and explain cocktails, spirits and flavour profiles.
- Handle busy service while maintaining speed, accuracy and presentation.
- Work closely with the kitchen and hospitality team to develop complementary food-and-beverage experiences.
- Stay informed about new cocktail techniques, ingredients and global beverage trends.

What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in a quality bar, restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and modern mixology.
- Good understanding of spirits, flavour pairing and cocktail balance.
- Experience with house-made cocktail ingredients is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Professional appearance, discipline and a genuine interest in hospitality.
- Most importantly, someone who is curious about drinks and constantly wants to make them better.
