About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil MEP Engineer to manage and coordinate MEP and associated civil works for a multi-storey steel-structure residential building project in Vadodara. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, coordination, quality control, inspection, testing, and timely completion of MEP services as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the execution of MEP works at the project site.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and other building services with civil and structural works.
- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, and approved materials before execution.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, civil, and MEP consultants to resolve site-related technical issues.
- Ensure proper coordination of MEP services with the steel structure, shafts, walls, ceilings, slabs, and other building elements.
- Supervise installation of electrical conduits, cable trays, panels, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and related systems.
- Supervise plumbing, drainage, water supply, sanitary, and rainwater systems.
- Coordinate fire-fighting systems, including piping, hydrants, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and related equipment.
- Coordinate HVAC/ventilation works wherever applicable.
- Ensure MEP installations are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications,



applicable codes, and quality standards.
- Check material quality, specifications, quantity, and proper storage at site.
- Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
- Monitor daily progress and prepare DPR/WPR/MPR and other project reports.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Identify clashes between MEP services and civil/structural works and coordinate timely rectification.
- Maintain inspection requests, checklists, test reports, material approvals, and as-built documentation.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for MEP execution.
- Assist in quantity verification, measurements, contractor billing, and material reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned MEP activities in accordance with the overall project schedule.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Relevant MEP certification will be an added advantage.

Experience




- 5–10 years of relevant experience in MEP execution and site coordination.
- Experience in multi-storey residential/commercial building projects is preferred.
- Experience with steel-structure buildings will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of building MEP services and site execution.
- Good understanding of MEP coordination with civil and structural works.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, civil, and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of applicable MEP standards, specifications, testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Strong coordination, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
- Valuable knowledge of quality control and site safety requirements.

- Successful project handover with minimum pending snags.

Salary Competitive salary based on qualification, experience, and suitability.

Preference: Candidates with relevant experience in multi-storey residential/steel-structure projects and those willing to work at Vadodara, Gujarat will be preferred.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
