To lead the maintenance and engineering function of the frozen-food manufacturing facility and ensure maximum availability, reliability and safe operation of production equipment, refrigeration systems, utilities and electrical/mechanical infrastructure.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, refrigeration and freezing systems, utilities, electrical systems, production machinery, statutory compliance, spare-parts management and maintenance-team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery and utilities.
- Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimum breakdown losses.
- Maintain and troubleshoot frozen-food processing equipment, including IQF/freezing systems, blast freezers, plate freezers, conveyors, packing machines and related production equipment.
- Manage industrial refrigeration systems and ensure proper temperature control for production and cold-storage operations.
- Monitor and maintain compressors, refrigeration equipment, pumps, motors, chillers, cooling systems and associated utilities.
- Manage electrical maintenance including HT/LT panels, transformers, MCCs, PCCs, DG sets, motors, drives, PLCs and control systems.
- Supervise utility systems such as boilers, water-treatment systems, compressors, pumps and HVAC/refrigeration utilities.
- Coordinate with production, quality and food-safety teams to minimize production interruptions.
- Develop and maintain annual/monthly preventive-maintenance schedules.
- Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.




- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, PM checklists andequipment history.
- Monitor MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability and maintenance cost.
- Plan and maintain adequate inventory of critical spare parts, consumables and maintenance tools.
- Evaluate vendors and contractors and supervise outsourced maintenance activities.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and control expenditure.
- Identify opportunities for energy saving, automation and equipment improvement.
- Lead installation, commissioning and modification of new machinery and plant projects.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, boiler, refrigeration, fire and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, food-safety and workplace-safety requirements.
- Technical Skills Required
- Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Industrial refrigeration knowledge, particularly relevant to frozen-food/cold-chain operations.
- Knowledge of compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors and automated machinery.
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, sensors and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of boiler and utility systems.
- Preventive/predictive maintenance planning.
- Breakdown analysis and RCA/Kaizen.
- Spare-parts planning and inventory control.
- Knowledge of GMP/HACCP and food-industry maintenance practices.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of statutory safety requirements and maintenance documentation

Pay: ₹20,852.32 - ₹55,073.80 per month
