Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer (Hydraulic Machines Specialist) to lead the upkeep, troubleshooting, and continuous performance of our heavy hydraulic press systems and related automotive production machinery. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for all hydraulic equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and precision output across our manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Hydraulic Systems Expertise: Perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and continuous optimization of high-tonnage hydraulic press machines, valves, proportional controls, and power packs.
- Breakdown Resolution: Rapidly diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns to maintain uninterrupted production targets.
- System Maintenance: Overhaul and service key hydraulic and mechanical components, including pumps, cylinders, seal kits, directional control valves, fluid filtration systems, and mechanical drive assemblies.
- Fluid & Pressure Management: Monitor and manage hydraulic oil condition, system pressure levels, temperature controls, and contamination levels to extend equipment life.




- Tooling & Setup Support: Collaborate with production and tooling teams during die setups, stroke adjustments, and pressure calibrations for pressing operations.
- Documentation & Safety: Maintain structured logs of machinery downtime, preventive schedules, spare parts usage, and strictly enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and high-pressure safety protocols.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to automotive industry quality and safety benchmarks (ISO/IATF 16949).

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Experience: 6 years of specialized hands-on maintenance experience focused heavily on hydraulic presses and stamping machinery within an automotive setting.
- Core Technical Competencies: Deep expertise in hydraulic circuit troubleshooting, schematics reading, pump overhauls, proportional valve tuning, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong mechanical blueprint reading and diagnostic capabilities.
- Solid working knowledge of industrial safety procedures related to high-pressure machinery.
