About the Role

CJ Smart India Private Limited is hiring an experienced and result-oriented Logistics / Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations across Kerala. You will manage the timely, safe, and cost-effective movement of products from suppliers/OEMs to warehouses and retail showrooms, including inter-showroom transfers and EV logistics.

Key Responsibilities

- Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Plan, coordinate, and track product movements from suppliers to warehouses and showrooms; manage showroom-wise distribution and inter-showroom stock transfers.
- Transporter Management & Cost Control: Source, evaluate, and negotiate rates with transporters across Kerala; optimize routes and load consolidation to control freight expenses.
- EV & Special Logistics: Coordinate safe movement, inspection, loading, and tracking of EV scooters and high-value/sensitive goods.
- Transit Safety & Claims: Monitor stock in transit; handle transit damage, shortages, missing items, and insurance claims.
- Inventory & Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with warehouse teams on stock dispatch, receipt, reconciliation, and resolving inventory variances.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate handling of E-way bills, Delivery Challans, LR/GR, Proof of Delivery (PODs), and freight bill verification for finance audit.
- MIS & Reporting:



Maintain daily status reports covering dispatch, delivery, stock-in-transit, transporter performance, freight costs, and damages.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields (MBA/PG Diploma preferred).
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and multi-location retail distribution.
- Industry Background: Preference for candidates from Retail, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, EV, Automobile, FMCG, or Distribution sectors.
- Technical Skills: Robust proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets; exposure to SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Route planning, vendor negotiation, damage/shortage management, strong documentation discipline, and cross-functional coordination.

Work Location & Conditions

- On-site in Kerala with occasional travel for transporter, vendor, and warehouse visits.
