We're hiring: Junior Social Media Manager

nSheThePeople | Hybrid Role

nSheThePeople is looking for a sharp, curious and highly online Junior Social Media Manager who understands what makes people stop, watch, share and engage.

nThis is a hands-on role for someone who has a robust pulse on women, Gen Z, culture, news and conversations on the internet. You should be able to spot a story, find the social angle, package it well and get it out quickly.

nWhat you'll do:

- Manage the day-to-day social media presence of SheThePeople across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other key platforms.

- Spot trends, conversations, news moments and cultural shifts that SheThePeople should be participating in.
n
- Turn editorial stories, interviews and videos into strong social-first content, including reels, carousels, posts, hooks and captions.
n
- Come up with original social ideas rather than simply waiting for content to be assigned.
n
- Write sharp, engaging copy with excellent English and a clear understanding of tone, context and audience.

- Work closely with editorial, video and design teams to take ideas from concept to publishing.

- Understand what is working through analytics and use those insights to improve reach, engagement, shares and audience growth.

- Experiment with formats, hooks and storytelling styles to continuously improve performance.

nWho we're looking for:

nSomeone with 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital media, content or a related role.

nYou should be deeply familiar with Instagram and comfortable with LinkedIn and YouTube. You should understand reels, trends, social storytelling and what makes content travel.

nYou need strong writing skills, speed, good editorial judgement and the ability to distinguish between a passing trend and a conversation worth owning.

nMost importantly, we want someone who is curious about women, culture, careers, money, relationships, health, entertainment and the issues shaping how a new generation thinks.

nThis is a hybrid role and will require both independent ownership and close collaboration with the SheThePeople team. If you live on social media but also think beyond the algorithm, we'd like to hear from you.
