Job Title: Junior Procurement Manager – Construction

We are looking for a Junior Procurement Manager to handle day-to-day procurement activities for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and regularly update Material Procurement/MIS Sheets, including enquiry, quotation, order, delivery and payment status.
- Search the local and online market for current products, brands, suppliers and competitive rates.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, credit terms and delivery schedule.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers/Project Managers to understand material specifications and quantities.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials at different project sites.
- Maintain vendor database, purchase records, rate history and material-wise supplier details.
- Identify alternative/equivalent products for cost optimization, subject to technical approval.
- Assist in preparation and follow-up of Purchase Orders.
- Track pending requirements and ensure critical materials are procured without affecting project progress.




- Maintain warehouse stocks with In and out Entries in MIS

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of civil/construction materials, such as cement, steel, tiles, sanitary & plumbing materials, electrical items, hardware, paints, aluminium, waterproofing products, etc.
- Positive negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong ability to search and source products/vendors in the market.
- Positive working knowledge of Excel/MS Office and MIS data entry.
- Ability to compare technical specifications, brands and prices.
- Energetic, responsible and willing to coordinate with multiple vendors and construction sites.

Preferred Qualification & Experience Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years in procurement/purchase, preferably in a building construction company.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
