Junior Architect – AutoCAD 2D Detailed Drawings

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Architect with strong experience in AutoCAD 2D architectural drafting and detailed drawings. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, working drawings, elevations, sections, roof details and construction-related drawings for residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed AutoCAD 2D architectural drawings based on design requirements.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations and sections with accurate dimensions and annotations.
- Develop detailed roof plans and roof elevations.
- Prepare roof edge, parapet, terrace and architectural detailing.
- Prepare detailed drawings for:
- Doors and windows
- Staircases
- Toilets and bathrooms
- Kitchens
- Flooring layouts
- Wall details
- Ceiling / RCP drawings
- Internal and external elevations
- Sections and construction details
- Prepare working drawings and GFC drawings as required.
- Develop detailed drawings using appropriate dimensions, levels, sections, notes and material specifications.
- Convert architectural concepts into accurate and practical 2D drawings.
- Understand and work with feet and inches dimensions.
- Revise drawings based on design changes, site requirements and project instructions.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, interior designers and project/site teams.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, references, dimensions and revisions.
- Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Support preparation of drawings required for project execution at site.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.




- Good knowledge of architectural drafting and detailing.
- Experience preparing detailed working drawings.
- Knowledge of GFC drawings and construction drawings.
- Good understanding of roof plans, elevations and sections.
- Knowledge of architectural components and construction details.
- Ability to interpret architectural designs and drawings.
- Understanding of measurements, dimensions, levels and material details.
- Good attention to detail and drawing accuracy.

Qualification
- Diploma in Architecture or B.Arch.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and AutoCAD 2D.

Preferred Experience Experience in residential projects, roof concepts, architectural detailing, working drawings and site-related drawings will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be technically strong in AutoCAD 2D, have good architectural drawing knowledge, and be comfortable preparing detailed drawings from concept through working-drawing stages.
