Position: Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day cash transactions and ensure proper cash control.

Maintain and update the Cash Book on a daily basis.

Record all cash receipts, payments, expenses and other financial transactions accurately.

Verify cash balance with physical cash and reconcile differences, if any.

Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the management/accounts head.

Handle petty cash and maintain proper supporting bills and vouchers.

Verify sales collection, cash deposits and other daily financial transactions.

Coordinate with billing, purchase, sales and other departments regarding accounts-related matters.

Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, receipts, payments and expenses.

Assist in bank reconciliation and daily banking-related activities.

Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.

Ensure all accounting entries are completed accurately and on time.





Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Support the senior accountant/management in monthly closing and other accounting activities.

Perform other accounts-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of accounting procedures and cash handling.

Experience in Cash Book and daily cash management.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.

Accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to handle financial transactions responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

Experience: 2+ years preferred

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
