Junior Accountant

Company: Bharat Banerjee & Company (CA Firm) Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Experience: 1–3 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Bhart Banerjee & Company (CA Firm) is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist in day-to-day accounting, taxation, client coordination, and financial reporting activities. The candidate will work closely with senior accountants and the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- - Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/accounting software.
- Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile ledgers and bank accounts.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and basic financial reports.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
- Collect and verify accounting documents from clients.
- Coordinate with clients for pending documents, information,



and accounting requirements.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Support the senior team in audit, taxation, accounting, and CFO services assignments.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Regularly follow up on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related activities as assigned by seniors.

Required

Skills

- - Good understanding of basic accounting concepts.
- Working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good communication and client follow-up skills.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com /MBA Finance , equivalent qualification preferred.
