Role Description The Interior Design Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The consultant will meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, and translate these into creative, functional interior design concepts.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design proposals, preparing mood boards and layout plans, selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures, and coordinating with in-house manufacturing and execution teams to ensure design accuracy. The role involves guiding clients through product options, conducting site visits, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.



The consultant will also support sales discussions, maintain solid client relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams (Communication).
- Strong focus on client satisfaction, ability to handle inquiries and feedback professionally, and skill in building long-term client relationships (Customer Service).
- Proficiency in interior design principles, space planning, color theory, and material selection, with experience in residential and/or commercial interiors (Interior Design).
- Comfort presenting design solutions, supporting sales conversations, and contributing to revenue growth through consultative selling (Sales).
- Knowledge of furniture styles, modular solutions, and custom furniture selection aligned with client needs and overall design concepts (Furniture).
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience using design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with local vendors, materials, and manufacturing processes in Bengaluru is an advantage.
