Job Title: Industrial Design Engineer

Location: SIPCOT,Ranipet, Tamil Nadu

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Design Engineer to support the development of innovative and manufacturable products. The role involves concept creation, engineering design, prototype evaluation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to bring products from idea to production.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop product concepts, 3D models, engin eering drawings, and design documentation.
- Evaluate and improve the design, aesthetics, ergonomics, and visual appeal of existing product ranges aligned with market trends, customer expectations, and brand identity.
- Support product lifecycle activities from concept, prototyping, validation, and production release.
- Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review designs for manufacturability, cost optimization, and product performance.
- Coordinate prototype development, testing, and implementation of design improvements.




- Drive engineering changes and maintain technical records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and internal design practices.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Product Design / Industrial Design or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, or HVAC production sectors.
- Robust hands-on experience in product engineering and industrial design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and plastics.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, material selection, and design calculations.
- Experience in prototype evaluation and technical problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹54,196.56 per month
