Role & responsibilities The ICT & Tech Teacher is a full time specialist educator within the Department of Digital Learning & Innovation at Khaitan Public School/Khaitan World School. Operating from the Tech Zone/Innovation Hub the school's dedicated skill-based learning hub this role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in ICT and vocational technology subjects, including Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and App Development, across designated grades.
The teacher is equally accountable for curriculum planning, classroom execution, student assessment,
documentation, and contributing to the broader digital learning ecosystem of the school. The role demands a balance of technical expertise, pedagogical skill, and a commitment to organised, outcome-driven teaching practices.
Deliver the ICT curriculum across assigned grades in alignment with the school's digital learning framework and CBSE guidelines.
- Cover core ICT topics including digital literacy, internet safety, productivity tools, basic programming
concepts, and responsible technology use.
- Conduct lab-based practical sessions to reinforce theoretical learning and build hands-on digital
competency in students. Design and deliver progressive Robotics classes across assigned grades, building from foundational to advanced skill levels.
- Introduce concepts of mechanical design, sensors, motors, circuits, and control logic in an ageappropriate manner.
- Facilitate project-based Robotics learning where students plan, build, program, and present robotic
solutions.
- Manage and maintain Robotics kits, tools, and lab equipment responsibly.
Schedule and conduct online classes on Microsoft Teams as and when required.
- Ensure students are informed of schedules in advance and that sessions are recorded or documented
where required. Prepare and submit Lesson Plans (quarterly) by the 30th of March, June, September, and December.
- Develop and maintain MTP (Mid-Term Planning) documents on a quarterly basis, submitted alongside
lesson plans.
- Create and update STP (Short-Term Planning) documents on a monthly basis by the end of each month.
- Create and maintain MTP & STP Folders on a quarterly basis for organised record-keeping.
- Prepare and update the Curriculum @ Glance Document on a yearly basis by 30th March.
- Fill and submit the Curriculum Conformity Sheet by the 7th of every month.
- Fill and update the Monthly Planner by the end of each month.
- Conduct Curriculum Reviews on a quarterly basis (March, June, September, December 30th).
- Upload class PPTs and teaching resources on Microsoft Teams every Friday.
- Provide timely feedback and evaluate student assignments submitted through MS Teams on a monthly
- basis by end of the month.
- • Fill the Term 1 & Term 2 Assessment Tracker half-yearly by 15th August and 15th February.
- • Enter student results for Term 1 & Term 2 on Edunext/Cuepilot as and when required (Critical task).
- • Coordinate with the backend team for Rubrics updation in Edunext Result by 1st August and 1st
- February.
- • Maintain class-wise student progress records and communicate outcomes to parents during PTMs and
- through school reporting systems.
- • Identify students requiring additional support or enrichment and differentiate instruction accordingly.
