Job DescriptionThe Network & Cloud Cybersecurity Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day network security operations, ensuring that the organization's network infrastructure is protected from cyber threats. This role includes monitoring, detecting, and responding to network security incidents, leading a team of network security professionals, and implementing security policies and controls to safeguard the network. The Lead will work closely with the broader cybersecurity and IT teams to maintain network resilience, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

NJob Purpose: The Network & Cloud Cybersecurity Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day network security operations, ensuring that the organization's network infrastructure is protected from cyber threats. This role includes monitoring, detecting, and responding to network security incidents, leading a team of network security professionals, and implementing security policies and controls to safeguard the network. The Lead will work closely with the broader cybersecurity and IT teams to maintain network resilience, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
N*Key Responsibilities of Role
NNetwork & Cloud Cybersecurity Lead
NNetwork Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
NOversee 24/7 network monitoring to detect security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
NLead the investigation and response to network security incidents, ensuring timely detection, containment, and remediation of issues.
NDevelop and manage incident response protocols specific to network security incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams for resolution.
NNetwork Security Tools and Technologies Management:
NOversee the configurationand management of network security tools (e.G., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, network monitoring platforms).
NEnsure the technologies 100 percent uptime for business continuity
NEnsure network security technologies are properly tuned, updated, and optimized to detect and prevent security incidents.
NImplementation of new security technologies and features
NVulnerability Management and Risk Mitigation:
NConduct vulnerability assessments and network penetration tests to identify security gaps within the network infrastructure.
NLead efforts to remediatevulnerabilities by working with IT teams to apply patches and updates to network devices and systems.
NManage risk assessments for network infrastructure and collaborate with other cybersecurity teams to implement mitigation measures.
NCompliance and Policy Enforcement:
NEnsure that network security operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies.
NAssist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence for network security controls.
NEnforce security policiesacross the network infrastructure, ensuring access controls, network segmentation, and secure configurations.
NCloud Threat Detection & Incident Response:
NManage cloud-native security tools (e.G., CSPM CNAPP) to monitor, detect, and mitigate cloud-based threats.
NOversee the investigationand remediation of cloud security incidents, ensuring effective incident response and forensic analysis.
NCollaborate with SOC teams to fine-tune detection rules, automate security monitoring, and enhance visibility across cloud environments.
NCollaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
NWork closely with the broader IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate network security measures with other organizational security initiatives.
NCollaborate with application security, cloud security, and endpoint security teams to ensure a holistic security approach across the organization.
NCommunicate network security posture and risks to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
NContinuous Improvement and Innovation:
NStay updated on the latest network security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, recommending improvements to security measures as needed.
NContinuously evaluate andimprove the network security operations, ensuring the environment adapts to emerging cyber threats.
NLead initiatives for automating network security monitoring and response to enhance operational efficiency.
NDocumentation and Reporting:
NMaintain accurate and detailed documentation for network security configurations, incidents, and processes.
NEnsure all procees related documents are updated on timely basis.
NProvide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of network security operations, incidents, and risks.
NTrack and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of network security operations.
NTeam Leadership and Development:
NLead and mentor a team ofnetwork security analysts, providing guidance on network security best practices and incident response techniques.
NDevelop training programsto ensure team members are equipped with the latest knowledge of network security technologies, threats, and methodologies.

NQualifications and Experience
NEducational Qualification:
NBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
NAdvanced degree (e.G., Master's, MBA) in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
NCertification:
NRelevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CEH, Cloud security ceritifcations or other network security certifications are highly desirable.
NWork Experience (Range ofyears):
N13+ years of experience in network security operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or team lead role.
