Position
Purpose /n The Head – Placement Operations will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the University's complete campus recruitment process. /n The incumbent will ensure a structured, transparent, student-centric and employer-friendly placement process from student registration and eligibility verification through recruitment, offer management, joining confirmation and final placement reporting. /n 3.

Placement
Planning /n /n
- Develop the annual University Placement Plan.
/n
- Prepare school-wise and programme-wise placement calendars.
/n
- Establish placement targets in consultation with the Director T&P; and Deans.
/n
- Develop recruitment schedules based on academic calendars.
/n
- Coordinate recruitment drives across Schools.

Student
Registration & Eligibility /n /n
- Establish the annual student placement registration process.
/n
- Maintain an updated database of placement-seeking students.
/n
- Verify eligibility according to company requirements.
/n
- Maintain student profiles, resumes and academic records.
/n
- Ensure accuracy of student placement data.
/n
- Develop placement-readiness categories based on student performance.

Recruitment Process
Management /n Coordinate the complete recruitment lifecycle: /n Company Requirement → JD → Eligibility → Student Registration → Pre-Placement Talk → Assessment → GD/Case Study → Interview → Selection → Offer → Joining /n /n
- Coordinate with recruiters for recruitment schedules.
/n
- Arrange infrastructure and interview facilities.
/n
- Coordinate online and offline assessments.
/n
- Ensure smooth execution of interviews.
/n
- Coordinate with faculty and administrative teams.
/n
- Resolve operational issues during recruitment.

Placement
Calendar /n /n
- Develop a centralised placement calendar.
/n
- Avoid conflicts between academic schedules and recruitment drives.

- Ensure timely communication to students.
/n
- Coordinate recruitment schedules across multiple Schools.

Offer
Management /n /n
- Maintain offer records.
/n
- Verify offers received from recruiters.
/n
- Track accepted and declined offers.
/n
- Monitor joining dates.
/n
- Track students who join the organisation.
/n
- Maintain records of PPOs and final placements.

Student
Communication /n /n
- Establish standard communication protocols.

- Communicate placement opportunities to eligible students.

- Postgraduate degree in Management, HR, Business Administration or related discipline.

- 8–12 years of relevant experience in placement, recruitment, HR operations, campus hiring or higher education.
/n
- Solid experience in managing large-scale recruitment processes preferred.
/n /n 9.
Reporting /n Reports to: Head – Training & Placement /n Works closely with: Corporate Relations, Training & Career Development, Internship, Deans, HoDs, Faculty Placement Coordinators and students.
