Role & Responsibilities

ABACUS Consultants / GRD Getting Recruitment Done is building a new Employment through Skill Development & Skill Enhancement initiative. We are looking for an entrepreneurial professional to head and build this vertical.

The person will be responsible for:

- Acquire CSR-funded, corporate-sponsored and institutional skill-development / employability projects.
- Build relationships with Corporates, CSR Foundations, Industry Associations, MSMEs, Universities, Colleges, Training Partners and Government-linked organisations.
- Develop proposals, concept notes, budgets and programme models for CSR and employability projects.
- Understand employer manpower requirements and identify candidate skill gaps.
- Design and execute employment-linked skill-development programmes.
- Acquire employers and genuine job opportunities for trained candidates.
- Coordinate assessment, counselling, training, certification, interview preparation, placement and post-placement tracking.
- Organise job fairs, placement drives, employer interactions and employment-linked workshops.
- Manage training partners and other programme stakeholders.
- Track measurable outcomes including Candidates Assessed, Trained, Interviewed, Selected, Joined and Retained.
- Build and manage the team required to scale this initiative.





• Take end-to-end ownership of business acquisition + programme execution + employment outcomes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 712 years of relevant experience in CSR, Skill Development, Employability, Livelihood, Recruitment, Training, Education or Social Impact.

- Robust preference for candidates who have “Strong preference for candidates who have personally acquired / converted CSR-funded or institutional projects, in addition to having programme-execution experience.” .
- Existing relationships with Corporates, CSR Foundations, Industry Bodies, Training Organisations or Educational Institutions will be valuable.
- Experience in employment-linked skill development, placement programmes, government skill projects, NSDC/Sector Skill Councils or livelihood projects preferred.
- Strong Business Development, Proposal Writing, Presentation, Negotiation and Stakeholder Management skills.
- Should be entrepreneurial and comfortable building a new initiative from the ground up.
- MBA / MSW / Postgraduate qualification in HR, Management, Social Work, Development Studies, Education or related field preferred.
- HR / Recruitment / Talent Acquisition background will be an added advantage.
