About the Role

Mobius Bloom is looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor who can turn marketing ideas into strong, platform-ready visual content. This remote role combines social media graphic design with video editing and motion graphics. You'll be responsible for creating the actual creatives used across our social media and brand communication — not simply executing a finished design someone else hands you.

What You'll Do

- Create social media posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Design carousels, single-image posts, promotional creatives, product/feature posts, and campaign creatives
- Take a topic, message, or marketing brief and develop the visual concept, layout, and final creative
- Edit short-form videos and reels, including product, educational, promotional, and brand videos
- Create motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and other visual elements
- Adapt creatives into different sizes and formats while maintaining visual consistency
- Work remotely with the marketing team to understand objective, audience, message, and CTA for each creative
- Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, composition, imagery, and overall brand presentation

Social Media Creative Design — Core Responsibility

This is primarily a social media creative production role. You should be able to develop a creative from a brief or idea, rather than waiting for someone else to provide the complete design.

- Static social media posts
- Carousel posts
- Product and feature announcement creatives
- Promotional and campaign creatives
- Educational / informative social posts
- Brand awareness and engagement creatives

Video Editing & Motion Graphics

- Edit Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and other social-first content
- Create clean cuts, pacing, transitions, subtitles, text animation, and sound synchronization
- Produce product demos, SaaS explainers, feature videos, and promotional videos




- Add basic-to-intermediate motion graphics and animated visual elements
- Repurpose longer content into engaging short-form formats

Tools

Required: Strong command of Canva and/or Figma, plus practical experience with a professional graphic design or video editing workflow.

Good to have: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

What We're Looking For

- Strong understanding of social media design and visual communication
- Positive typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, and composition skills
- Ability to understand a message and translate it into a compelling social media creative
- Positive sense of trends, hooks, and platform-friendly visual formats
- Ability to handle both design and video work independently
- Attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback
- Comfortable working remotely in a startup environment with changing priorities

Portfolio Requirement A portfolio is mandatory for consideration. Please share examples of social media posts, carousels, campaign creatives, reels/videos, and motion graphics. We're especially interested in work that demonstrates your own creative thinking and execution — not just template edits.

Do Not Apply If

- You only work from pre-made templates and cannot create original social media creatives
- Your experience is limited to basic Canva editing without design fundamentals
- You are looking only for a video-editing role and do not want to create social media graphics
- You do not have a portfolio demonstrating relevant creative work

What Success Looks Like

You can receive a marketing topic, product update, or campaign objective and independently turn it into a polished social media creative or video that is clear, engaging, on-brand, and ready to publish.
