We are looking for an Observability & Monitoring Intern to join our engineering team and work on monitoring, metrics, and observability for our systems and services.

Duration: 3 Months

Work Mode: Remote

Experience: Fresher / Students / Recent Graduates

Internship: Unpaid

Responsibilities

- Work with Prometheus for metrics collection and monitoring.
- Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for applications and infrastructure.
- Monitor system and application performance.
- Work with metrics such as CPU, memory, network traffic, API performance, and service health.
- Assist in setting up and managing alerts.
- Work with backend and networking teams to understand system behavior.
- Troubleshoot issues using metrics, logs, and monitoring data.
- Help improve the visibility and reliability of Ninternet's services.
- Learn and work with real-world production monitoring systems.

Requirements
- Basic understanding of Linux systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts .
- Basic understanding of monitoring and observability concepts .
- Familiarity with APIs and backend applications .
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub .
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Robust interest in monitoring,



observability, infrastructure, or backend systems .
- Willingness to learn and work with Prometheus and Grafana .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus and/or Grafana through academic, personal, or professional projects.
- Experience creating Grafana dashboards .
- Experience configuring Prometheus metrics collection/scraping .
- Basic knowledge of Docker .
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Python
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure .
- Experience monitoring backend services, APIs, or applications .
