BFT Media is looking for a freelance video editor to work with our remote team. We make documentary style YouTube videos on business, finance and technology, and we care a lot about storytelling, pacing, visuals and keeping viewers watching till the end.

What you'll do

Edit YouTube documentary style videos from raw footage and scripts

Cut, add transitions, motion graphics and sound design

Use stock footage, archival clips, screenshots and graphics to tell the story

Add subtitles, text animations and visual effects

Work with the team to turn scripts into finished videos

Make changes based on feedback and how videos perform

What we're looking for





Solid experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools A good sense of storytelling, pacing and visual composition

Interest in business, finance, tech or documentary content

Open to feedback and willing to experiment

Detail oriented and positive with deadlines

Engagement: Freelance, project based

Pay: Per video, based on length and complexity

Location: Remote
