About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Service Associate to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, taking and serving orders, coordinating with the kitchen and other operational teams, maintaining service standards, and ensuring a positive and memorable customer experience.

The ideal candidate should have a pleasant personality, good communication skills, a qualified approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced customer-service environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests in a warm, polite, and professional manner.

Assist guests with seating and provide menus or relevant information.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or relevant team.

Understand menu items and provide guests with basic information about dishes, beverages, ingredients, and recommendations.

Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.

Ensure orders are served correctly and within the expected time.

Follow proper service procedures and maintain high standards of guest service.

Regularly check on guests to ensure their requirements are being met.

Respond to guest queries, requests, and concerns professionally.

Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues to the supervisor or manager when required.

Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, billing, and other service teams.

Ensure tables, service areas,



and guest-facing spaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Set up and clear tables before, during, and after service.

Maintain proper hygiene, grooming, and personal appearance at all times.

Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other service equipment.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Assist in maintaining adequate service supplies and report shortages to the concerned supervisor.

Process or coordinate customer bills and payments as per company procedures when required.

Promote menu items, special offerings, and relevant services when appropriate.

Support special events, private functions, promotions, and busy service periods.

Maintain a skilled and positive attitude while interacting with guests and colleagues.

Collect and communicate customer feedback to the supervisor or management.

Follow company policies, service standards, and operational procedures.

Perform other guest-service and operational duties assigned by management.

Requirements

0–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality, Customer Service, or a similar role preferred.

Freshers with good communication skills and a positive attitude may also apply.

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Good listening and order-taking skills.

Ability to communicate confidently with guests.

Basic understanding of food and beverage service.
