Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning,

troubleshooting, maintenance, and after-sales service of solar power systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient system performance and timely resolution of customer service issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Install, test, commission, and service solar PV systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, wiring, earthing, and other

system components.

- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimum system performance.
- Visit customer sites to inspect equipment, identify faults, and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Monitor solar system performance and identify issues affecting power generation and efficiency.
- Attend customer complaints and service requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the installation, sales, and operations teams for smooth project execution and after-sales support.
- Conduct electrical testing, safety checks, and system inspections as required.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, site inspection reports, maintenance records, and job completion reports.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for warranty claims, technical support, and replacement of faulty

components.

- Explain basic system operation, maintenance requirements,



and safety procedures to customers.
- Ensure all service and installation activities follow company standards and electrical safety practices.
- Maintain proper records of tools, spare parts, equipment, and materials used during service visits.
- Stay updated with new solar technologies, inverters, batteries, monitoring systems, and industry practices.
- Travel to customer locations within the assigned territory as required.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in solar installation, electrical maintenance, service engineering, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, electrical wiring, earthing, and protection systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.
- Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable working at outdoor and customer project sites.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and service requirements.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
