Summary

We are looking for a motivated Field Marketing Executive to develop the market for disposable lighters, build relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other potential customers, and increase sales and product visibility in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

Visit wholesalers, distributors, retailers, cigarette/pan shops, general stores and other relevant outlets regularly.

Identify and develop current dealers, distributors and bulk buyers.

Generate orders and achieve assigned monthly sales targets. Introduce and promote the company's lighter products, pricing, schemes and new designs. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat orders.

Collect information about competitors, market prices, product demand and customer preferences. Expand distribution and product availability in new markets. Follow up on quotations, orders, payments and deliveries.

Coordinate with the office/dispatch team for timely order fulfillment. Maintain daily records of market visits, customer meetings, orders and collections. Provide regular reports on market activity and sales performance.

Attend to customer complaints and coordinate for their resolution. Ensure proper product presentation and visibility at retail outlets.



Participate in local promotional activities, exhibitions and trade events when required.

Required Skills

Good communication and negotiation skills. Ability to convince customers and close sales. Basic knowledge of local markets and distribution channels. Good relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Basic knowledge of MS Excel/WhatsApp for reporting and communication. Self-motivated and target-oriented. Previous experience in FMCG, tobacco accessories, lighters, household products or general trade will be an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

Education: 12th pass / Graduate preferred. Experience: 1–3 years in field sales/marketing preferred. Freshers with strong communication and sales ability may also be considered. Driving Licence: Preferred if the job requires two-wheeler travel.

Ideal Candidate

Someone who is energetic, persuasive, comfortable travelling in the market, and capable of independently developing a territory from scratch. Experience in this specific industry for dealing with wholesalers, distributors and retail shops will be particularly valuable.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
