nKey Responsibilities

nContent Creation

n

- Write, script, and direct reels, We’re looking for someone who is internet-obsessed, idea-hungry and always creating. Someone who wants to help build one of India’s most upcoming beauty brands.
n
- shorts, and social-first content that brings Pilgrim & PHD's brand voice to life across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
n
- Own the reel from idea to final cut scripting, shot-planning, directing talent/creators on set, and guiding edits.
n
- Take initiative to spot content opportunities & trends, formats, sounds, and cultural moments and turn them around fast, on-brand.
n

nCreative Strategy & Execution

- Build and pitch original content concepts, not just execute briefs. Bring a point of view on what will work & why.
n
- Partner with editors, and influencers/creators to execute content that's sharp in craft and platform-native
n

nSocial Media & Trend Fluency

n

n




- Live and breathe social media; have deep, current knowledge of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms, formats, and creator trends.
n
- Track what's working across the category and culture at large and content trends, and translate it into fresh content ideas for the brand.
n
- Stay closely tuned to comments, engagement, and platform signals to inform what gets made next.
n

nRequirements

n

n
- 2-3 years of experience as a content creator, scriptwriter at a D2C brand, content/social agency, or as an independent creator/influencer with 10K+ followers
n
- Proven ability to write scripts and direct reels/short-form video, with a portfolio or reel showcasing the work.
n
- Sharp, current understanding of social media platforms, trends, formats, and what drives engagement.
n
- Comfortable directing shoots, working with talent/creators, and briefing editors.
n
- Solid sense of initiative
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Prior experience in beauty, personal care, fashion, or lifestyle D2C is a plus.
