ABOUT STAHL COOKWARE

Stahl is a fast-growing premium Indian cookware brand. We are a design-forward manufacturing company headquartered in Pune. We believe that great cooking begins with great tools. We make products that earn a place in kitchens for a lifetime.

THE ROLE

● Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation systems across manufacturing operations

● Integration of 6 axis robot cells, cobot integration, PLC-based control systems, and Special Purpose Machines

● Acts as the technical link between production requirements and automation solutions on the shop floor.

● Plays a key role in scaling automation across new and existing production lines to improve throughput and reduce manual intervention

● Partners with vendors and OEMs during equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning

WHAT YOU WILL DO

● Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems for production equipment

● Integrate and program industrial robots and cobots for pick-and-place, welding, assembly, or material handling applications

● Support design, development, and commissioning of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)

● Troubleshoot automation systems (electrical, mechanical, and software) to minimize downtime

● Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve line efficiency and OEE

● Prepare and maintain documentation — control logic, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and change records

● Drive continuous improvement projects focused on automation upgrades and cost reduction

● Ensure automation systems comply with safety standards and guidelines

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

● 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing automation

● Hands-on experience with industrial robots and cobots (e.g., ABB, FANUC,

KUKA, Universal Robots)

● Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar)

● Experience in SPM design/development or working closely with SPM builders

● Understanding of electrical panel design, sensors, actuators, and HMI/SCADA systems

● Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, shop-floor approach

● Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related experience in this field.

● Good communication skills to coordinate across cross-functional teams

WHAT WE OFFER

● Opportunity to be part of a brand that transforms kitchens into spaces of joy, not just utility. Here, you will find the environment and trust to push boundaries and create work you can truly be proud of, work that becomes a meaningful part of people’s lives.

● Straightforward, low-hierarchy culture with open and honest collaboration across levels, where ownership comes with responsibility and grows with you.

● We ensure a way of working that respects life beyond work.

● Along with competitive compensation, other benefits
