- Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Manage medical emergencies, trauma, critical and unstable patients.
- Perform emergency procedures including CPR, airway management, intubation, and other life-saving interventions as required.
- Coordinate with consultants and other departments for timely referrals and further management.
- Monitor critically ill patients and ensure appropriate escalation of care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their attendants.
- Participate in emergency response, clinical audits, training, and quality-improvement activities.
Qualification
- MBBS with MD in Emergency Medicine preferred.
- Relevant experience in Emergency Medicine will be an added advantage.
