Job Summary The Electrician is responsible for installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within the facility. The role ensures secure and reliable operation of electrical installations while complying with safety and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical installation, repair, testing, and maintenance work as assigned.

- Inspect electrical systems, wiring, panels, switches, sockets, lighting, and other equipment.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the root cause of problems.

- Repair or replace defective electrical components, cables, switches, breakers, lights, and fixtures.

- Maintain and inspect distribution boards, MCC panels, DBs, MCBs, RCCBs, and related equipment.

- Carry out installation and maintenance of lighting systems, emergency lights, and power points.

- Assist with generator, UPS, battery, and other electrical equipment maintenance where required.

- Take electrical readings such as voltage, current, and insulation resistance using appropriate testing instruments.

- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.

- Follow approved electrical safety procedures and ensure proper isolation before carrying out work.

- Use PPE and electrical tools safely and correctly.

- Maintain records of inspections,



maintenance activities, breakdowns, and completed work orders.

- Maintain proper inventory of electrical tools, spare parts, and consumables.

- Coordinate with civil, HVAC, plumbing, and other maintenance teams when required.

- Ensure electrical work complies with applicable safety standards and company procedures.

- Report major electrical faults, unsafe conditions, and material requirements to the supervisor.

- Maintain good housekeeping in electrical rooms and work areas.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, breakers, lighting, and power systems.

- Ability to use a multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, and other electrical testing tools.

- Knowledge of electrical safety and isolation procedures.

- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and diagrams.

- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

- Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns and work under pressure.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
