Role &

• Responsibilities:

- Basic and Detailed engineering of electrical systems for industrial and process plants, including steel plants, mining facilities, coal and raw material handling systems, ports, and metals industry projects.
- Expertise in equipment sizing and selection, system studies, and development of engineering deliverables across the project lifecycle.
- Design and engineer electrical power distribution systems, including EHV/HV/MV/LV Power Distribution Networks, Substations and Switchyards &

• Switchgear and Motor Control Center.

- Carry out electrical load estimation and preparation of Electrical Load Lists, Demand Load Calculations, Power Balance Studies &

• Transformer Sizing Calculations.

- Develop and review key engineering deliverables, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Electrical Equipment Specifications, Technical Datasheets, Cable Schedules, Cable Tray Layouts, Lighting and Earthing Layouts and Substation Equipment.
- Review vendor drawings, calculations, protection schemes, equipment datasheets, and engineering documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Support site engineering activities, commissioning,



troubleshooting, performance testing, and system integration during project execution.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, civil, structural, and automation disciplines to ensure integrated plant design and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, material requisitions, and bid evaluation documents, and participate in vendor evaluation and selection.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

- Minimum Qualifications: Full time MTech/ BE / BTech / Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

- Minimum years of experience & Industry Preference:
- 3-15 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and design of Steel Plants, Metals & Mining Facilities, Coal Handling Plants, Raw Material Handling Systems, Ports, and Industrial Process Plants.
- Experience in electrical equipment sizing, system studies, and power system design.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools or equivalent software.
- Experience in engineering consultancy, design centers, or EPC organizations will be preferred.
