About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Education Counsellor / Overseas Education Counsellor to join our team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents regarding international education opportunities, helping students select suitable courses and universities, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, good knowledge of overseas education destinations, and the ability to achieve student enrolment and conversion targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding study-abroad opportunities, courses, universities, and career pathways.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, budgets, and preferences to recommend suitable programs.
- Provide accurate information about universities, courses, admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, and application procedures.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, email, and online channels.
- Guide students through the complete application and admission process.
- Coordinate with university representatives and internal application/admissions teams.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into applications and enrolments.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications in the CRM.




- Assist students with documentation, SOP/LOR requirements, application submissions, and offer-letter processes.
- Stay updated on changes in international education policies, university requirements, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, university events, and student counselling sessions.
- Achieve individual and team counselling/enrolment targets.

Preferred Destinations Knowledge of one or more of the following destinations will be an advantage:
- UK
- USA
- Canada
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Ireland
- Europe

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in overseas education counselling, student recruitment, admissions, or a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of international universities and study-abroad processes.
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up and conversion skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is preferred.

Compensation ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and relevant industry exposure.

Additional incentives/bonuses: Performance-based incentives may be offered based on enrolments and targets.
