We are looking for a qualified and experienced BAMS Doctor to join our Ayurvedic healthcare team in Ludhiana. The candidate will be responsible for patient consultations, Ayurvedic diagnosis, treatment planning, patient counselling and follow-up.
The ideal candidate should have good clinical knowledge, excellent patient-handling skills and a genuine interest in Ayurveda and holistic healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct OPD consultations and understand patients' medical history and health concerns.
- Diagnose patients based on Ayurvedic principles and clinical assessment.
- Prepare personalized Ayurvedic treatment plans.
- Prescribe appropriate Ayurvedic medicines, therapies, diet and lifestyle modifications.
- Conduct patient follow-ups and monitor treatment progress.
- Explain treatment procedures, medicines and precautions clearly to patients.
- Coordinate with Panchkarma therapists and clinic staff for treatment execution.
- Maintain accurate patient records and consultation details.
- Ensure proper documentation of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
- Build good relationships with patients and provide professional counselling.
- Maintain clinical standards and follow applicable healthcare/Ayurvedic protocols.
- Participate in awareness and wellness activities conducted by the clinic.
Candidate Requirements
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Ayurvedic Medical Council.
- 1–4 years of experience in an Ayurvedic clinic/hospital preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge may also be considered.
- Positive knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment.
- Experience in patient consultation and counselling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punjabi and Hindi communication skills preferred for the Ludhiana location.
- Basic computer/EMR knowledge will be an advantage.
