Job Title: Food Factory Dispatch Supervisor

Department: Logistics & Outbound Supply Chain

Reports To: Logistics Manager / Plant Operations Manager

Job Summary The Food Factory Dispatch Supervisor manages the everyday picking, packing, loading, and shipping of finished food products. This leader ensures that all shipments go out accurately and on time while strictly maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cold chain temperature regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Shift Management: Supervise, train, and allocate daily tasks to a team of warehouse loaders, packers, and transport drivers.
- FEFO & FIFO Enforcement: Strictly implement First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) and First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rules to manage food shelf life and minimize waste.
- Cold Chain & Quality Checks: Monitor and verify that products are stored, handled, and loaded into vehicles under specific temperature-controlled settings.
- Order and Batch Verification: Cross-check order quantities, product packaging, expiry details, and batch numbers against invoices and picking slips before loading.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work directly with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Sales teams to align daily dispatch plans with product availability.
- Strict Hygiene Standards: Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)



and clean work environments to comply with food safety standards like HACCP or local regulations.
- Documentation & ERP Entry: Prepare and verify vital shipping documents (invoices, e-way bills, loading slips) and log details into ERP systems like SAP.

Skills and Qualifications

- Food Safety Knowledge: Robust understanding of GMP, HACCP, food hygiene rules, and cold chain management.
- Leadership & Delegation: Proven ability to direct a busy floor team during tight dispatch windows.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in counting, reading batch numbers, and spotting damaged packaging.
- Technical Literacy: Experience using inventory management software (ERP/SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Quick Problem Solving: Ability to instantly resolve issues like delayed trucks, shorted stock, or sudden temperature variations

Education and Experience Requirements

- High School Diploma or Graduate degree; a degree in Logistics or Food Science is a major advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations, ideally in FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Thorough understanding of handling perishable or sensitive goods
