About the Role
We are looking for an SEO intern with a basic understanding of SEO and content writing who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in digital marketing. The intern will assist the team in creating SEO-focused content and improving website search visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-friendly blogs, website content, landing pages, and digital content.
- Conduct basic keyword research and understand search intent.
- Assist with on-page SEO, including keywords, headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Support basic off-page SEO activities such as backlink building and outreach.
- Assist with basic technical SEO activities, including indexing, broken-link checks, sitemap/robots.txt checks,
and page-speed optimisation.
- Optimise existing website content for better search visibility.
- Conduct competitor and SERP research.
- Track and report basic SEO and content performance.
Requirements
- Fresher with basic knowledge of SEO and content writing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Google search, keywords, and search intent.
- Solid willingness to learn and experiment.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of SEO tools will be an added advantage.
