About The Role The NetDevOps Consultant at SISL Global will play a pivotal role in driving network integration, automation, and orchestration across diverse environments including cloud, edge, and enterprise networks. This role aligns with a Modern Ops and AI-first operating model, emphasizing Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and AI-powered operations (AIOps). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and automation, with expertise in developing scalable, reliable, and intelligent network solutions.

They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Cloud, Security, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to deliver seamless network services, enhance operational efficiency, and enable proactive management through observability and automation tools.

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a robust technical foundation with extensive experience in network engineering, automation, and DevOps practices. Relevant certifications in networking (such as CCNP, CCIE), cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and automation tools are highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in core networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, and HSRP/VRRP.

Hands-on experience with network domains such as LAN/WAN, SD-WAN,



Data Center (ACI/Nexus), WLAN, firewalls, and load balancers is essential. Strong scripting skills in Python, along with familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Git, and orchestration platforms such as Itential, are required. Knowledge of observability platforms like SolarWinds, Grafana, Elastic, and ThousandEyes will be advantageous.

The candidate should have excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset conducive to working within a global, 24x7 operational environment.

Responsibilities The NetDevOps Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC) using Python, Ansible, and Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management of network components. They will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitOps principles, APIs, and orchestration tools such as Itential to automate network service deployment and updates. Automating connectivity services like VLAN, DNS, Firewall, and DDI, integrated with ServiceNow and ITSM workflows, will be a core part of their duties.

The role involves driving AI and machine learning use cases such as WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self-healing networks to enhance network reliability and performance.

The candidate will integrate observability platforms including SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, Grafana, and ZDX to enable proactive monitoring and insights. They will provide engineering support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent integrations, ensuring compliance, security monitoring, and cost optimization across the network infrastructure. Collaboration with cloud, IAM, SRE, and platform teams across Azure,



GCP, and Edge environments will be essential to deliver unified control plane operations.

Participation in design reviews focusing on resilience, scalability, and automation readiness will be expected, along with creating reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules for provisioning, upgrades, compliance, and backup workflows.

Mentoring engineering teams, sharing best practices in NetDevOps, and supporting global 24x7 operations aligned with SRE principles—including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets—will be vital to reducing incidents and improving network stability through AI-driven automation and observability enhancements.
