About The Role The NetDevOps Consultant at SISL Global will play a pivotal role in advancing our network automation and orchestration capabilities across cloud, edge, and enterprise environments. This position is tailored for a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of network infrastructure, automation tools, and AI-driven operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC), designing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating observability platforms to ensure resilient, scalable, and intelligent network operations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including Cloud, Security, and SRE to deliver unified control plane operations aligned with a Modern Ops and AI-first operating model.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in network engineering, with hands-on experience in automation and cloud environments. Relevant certifications in networking, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and automation are highly preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in core networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs,



and firewall configurations, along with expertise in network automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, and orchestration platforms such as Itential. A solid understanding of observability tools, AIOps concepts, and multi-cloud networking is essential. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to mentor team members are also important attributes for this position.

Responsibilities The NetDevOps Consultant will be responsible for developing and managing automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management. This includes designing and implementing NetIaC using Python, Ansible, and Terraform, as well as building CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitOps principles and orchestration platforms.

The role involves automating connectivity services such as VLAN, DNS, Firewall, and DDI, integrating these with ServiceNow and other ITSM workflows to streamline operations.

In addition, the consultant will drive AI and machine learning use cases like WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, and self-healing networks to enhance operational efficiency. Managing observability platforms such as SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, and Grafana for proactive monitoring is a key aspect of the role. The candidate will also provide engineering support for protocols like MCP and AI agent integrations, ensuring AI-driven compliance, security monitoring, and cost optimization.

Collaboration with cloud, IAM, SRE,



and platform teams to deliver unified control plane operations across Azure, GCP, and Edge environments is essential. The role requires participation in design reviews focusing on resilience, scalability, and automation readiness, along with creating reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules for various workflows. Mentoring engineers and promoting best practices in NetDevOps and reliability engineering are integral responsibilities.

Supporting global 24x7 operations aligned with SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, to reduce incidents through AIOps is also expected.
