We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering and product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automotive and product design, drafting, engineering drawing releases, concept-level BOM preparation, and technical documentation to support production and product development activities.

This role requires strong technical understanding, attention to detail, a willingness to work on innovative products, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform automotive and product design activities as per project requirements.
- Develop and modify 2D/3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and layouts.
- Prepare and release production-ready engineering drawings.
- Translate design concepts into accurate, manufacturing-ready engineering data.
- Prepare concept-level BOMs and maintain technical documentation.
- Apply GD&T; principles in engineering drawings and manufacturing applications.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments for design feasibility and production alignment.
- Support design modifications, product improvements, prototyping, and product development.
- Contribute to innovative product development and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of automotive and product design principles.
- Strong understanding of drafting, engineering drawings, and drawing release processes.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software; experience with Fusion 360 is appreciated.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and its practical application.




- Ability to prepare BOMs and maintain technical documentation.
- Solid attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

- Interest in understanding the complete product design and life cycle.

Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Or a related engineering discipline

Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in automotive design, product design, drafting, or engineering documentation is preferred.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Experience in production drawings, BOM preparation, technical documentation, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional coordination will be an advantage.
