Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop packaging products using SolidWorks.

- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.

- Develop wooden, metal, corrugated, honeycomb, and custom packaging solutions.

- Prepare BOMs, material specifications, and cost estimates.

- Coordinate with production and quality teams for design validation.

- Conduct product testing and design improvements.

- Support new product development and customer-specific packaging requirements.

- Conduct customer visits to identify new product development opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sales growth.

- Visit suppliers and customer sites for technical discussions when required.

- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

- Maintain design documentation and revision control.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust knowledge of SolidWorks (mandatory).

- Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.

- Knowledge of sheet metal, welding, packaging materials, and structural design.

- AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.
