We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer – Structural Steel to design and engineer structural steel systems for industrial, commercial, PEB, warehouse, and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design calculations, preparation and review of engineering drawings, and coordination with detailing and project teams. The role requires strong knowledge of structural steel design, relevant design codes, and engineering software.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures.
- Prepare structural design calculations for beams, columns, bracings, platforms, frames, and other steel members.
- Design and verify steel connections, including bolted and welded connections.
- Review structural and architectural drawings and understand project requirements.
- Develop structural design concepts based on project specifications.
- Prepare design calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
- Check structural stability, strength, serviceability, and load requirements.
- Calculate and consider dead loads, live loads, wind loads, seismic loads, equipment loads, and other applicable loads.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards such as IS, AISC, Eurocode, BS, or client-specific standards.
- Coordinate with structural detailers, Tekla modelers, checkers, architects, and project engineers.
- Provide technical inputs to the Tekla detailing team for accurate model and drawing preparation.
- Review Tekla models and fabrication/erection drawings from a design perspective.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues.




- Respond to client and consultant technical queries.
- Review and incorporate client/consultant comments.
- Perform design modifications and revisions based on project requirements.
- Support the project team in resolving fabrication and site-related structural issues.
- Ensure designs are practical, economical, safe, and suitable for fabrication and erection.
- Maintain proper records of calculations, drawings, revisions, and design documents.
- Meet project quality, technical, and delivery schedules.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design and analysis.
- Positive understanding of steel members and structural connections.
- Ability to interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of structural design codes and standards.
- Experience with structural analysis/design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures is an advantage.
- Good understanding of fabrication and erection requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering is an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- 3–8+ years of experience in structural steel design.
- Experience in PEB, industrial buildings, warehouses, commercial buildings, platforms, pipe racks, and structural steel projects.
- Experience with international projects and standards is an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
