Database Administration (SQL Server & Mongo DB)

Install, configure, and manage Microsoft SQL Server and Mongo DB Standalone/clusters Handle database provisioning, upgrades, patching, and migrations Manage both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure SQL, Mongo DB Atlas) ___

Performance Tuning & Optimization

Optimize SQL queries, indexing, stored procedures Analyze Mongo DB performance using: o Query profiler o Indexing strategies o Aggregation pipeline optimization

- Troubleshoot:

o Slow queries o High CPU/memory utilization o Locking/blocking issues (SQL)

o Replication lag (Mongo DB)

High Availability & Disaster Recovery

- SQL Server:

o Always On Availability Groups o Failover Clustering o Log Shipping / Replication

- Mongo DB:

o Replica Sets configuration o Sharded cluster management

Manage backup & restore strategies for both platforms Conduct DR drills and failover testing Windows Server Cluster configuration/Installation ___

Incident Management (L2 / L3 Support)

Handle production incidents, outages,



and escalations Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures Provide support for 24x7 critical environments ___

Automation & Scripting

- Develop automation scripts using:

o T-SQL, Power Shell (SQL Server)

o Mongo DB Shell / Python / Bash

- Automate routine DBA tasks, monitoring, alerts

Security & Compliance

- MSSQL o Roles, permissions, TDE encryption, auditing
- Mongo DB:

o Authentication (SCRAM, LDAP), RBAC, encryption

- Ensure compliance with data security standards

Monitoring & Maintenance

- Monitor database performance using tools like:

o SQL: SSMS, Extended Events, Redgate, SCOM o Mongo DB: Ops Manager, Atlas Monitoring

- Schedule and manage:

o Index maintenance o DB health checks o Capacity planning

Collaboration & Documentation

Work with application teams, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and architecture documents Participate in change and release management processes About Company :
