Role Description The Data Science Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based at Palin Analytics in Gurugram. The trainer will design and deliver structured lessons on data science concepts, including statistics, machine learning, data engineering fundamentals, and analytics, to diverse learner groups.

Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating teaching materials, delivering interactive lectures and lab sessions, and guiding learners through hands-on projects. The role involves assessing learner performance through assignments, quizzes, and project evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting learners in their career progression.



The trainer will also contribute to curriculum development, stay updated on industry trends and tools, and collaborate with the training team to continuously improve course content and teaching methods.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Science Education experience, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Candidates should possess solid foundations in Physics and Mathematics to support teaching core data science and analytics principles.
- Candidates should possess Qualified Teacher credentials or equivalent teaching experience, with proven skills in classroom management and learner engagement.
- Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills, including designing structured, outcome-driven curricula and learning activities.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with data engineering concepts such as ETL, data warehousing, and data pipelines is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with the ability to support learners from varied backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline) preferred.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator in data science, analytics, or related technical subjects is strongly preferred.
